「左」とはなにか

メールマガジンでは「右」を取り上げました。
当然、「左」も見たくなりますよね。
COBUILD の「右」の説明文はこんな感じでした。
The right is one of two opposite directions, sides, or positions. If you are facing north and you turn to the right, you will be facing east. In the word `to’, the `o’ is to the right of the `t’.

こうなると、左はもちろん・・・。

外人さんって、右利きが大多数なんですか。
てっきり左かと思ってましたね。
助っ人仁左バッターが多いもんで。
確かに、左利きだと英語の筆記体は書きづらいですね。
割合としては右利きの方が多そうですよね。
日本人は右利きの割合が特に高いんでしょ。
