メールマガジンでは sunset を取り上げました。

タイのピピ島に行ったとき、とても印象的な日没を見たことがあります。

印象的な日没が思い出に残っている方って多いのではないでしょうか。

ただ、たいていは物悲しい・・・。

ということで、今日は sunset の説明文をふまえて「日の出」を見てみましょう。

一応もう一度 sunset をあげておきますね。

もうすぐ2007年。気持ちも新たに初日の出を迎えたいですねぇ。

もっとも私はいつも新年を自宅で迎えるので、今まで初日の出を見たことがないのですが・・・。

ところで、メールマガジンで、斜陽産業という言葉にちょっとだけ触れました。

sunset industry でしたね。

その逆。成長している産業のことは sunrise industry といいます。

せっかくですから、これも英英辞典で見ておきましょう。
